About Me

My world revolves around velvet, sweet tea and my little family of three. I work from home as a social media consultant and web content writer, and I also homeschool my daughter. I enjoy taking a lot of pictures and although I often look very silly behind the camera, I usually end up with really great shots. It's my way of making time stand still for just a little while longer with my daughter. In my spare time, I like to play video games and create design boards relating to interior design and fashion.

About My Family

The best way to describe my family is that we are a triangle of opposites, all connected where it matters most. I am the sports fan of the family and tend to go for the more active experiences in the Disney Parks, while my husband heads to the technology-based attractions. Our daughter is content to spend an afternoon dancing with the Disney Princesses, but she also enjoys challenging herself on the more thrilling rides and has even taken an interest in science.

About My Disney Experience

I've lived in Georgia for most of my life, so my family and I have driven down to the Walt Disney World Resort quite a few times over the years. Since I am the planner of the family, most of our trips are outlined well in advance of our visits, although I have become quite skilled at putting together wonderful last-minute trips, too! My husband, daughter and I took our first trip as a family in January 2013, and we’ve returned many times since then to get our fill of Mickey and the gang. We enjoy trying something new on each visit, whether it be food, rides or itineraries, which allows us to experience the Disney Parks in a fresh and exciting way every time. In 2014, my family and I took our first road trip to Disneyland and we look forward to visiting again soon!
