I have an 11 year old and 7 year old. I am looking for recommendations on where to eat dinner at Epcot and magic Kingdom so that I have the best vantage point for the light shows. Any character dining you would recommend? Thank you

    Hi Renee!

Illuminations is performed nightly at Epcot at 9:00 p.m. It can be viewed from throughout the World Showcase, but the absolute best location is from the patio of Rose & Crown Restaurant in the UK Pavillion. If you book an Advanced Dining Reservation around 7:30 p.m. you may be lucky enough to be seated at the patio so you can enjoy the view while dining. Even if your seat is not on the patio, all diners are welcome to watch the fireworks from the patio and then go back to their table for their meal.

In regards to character dining, there isn't a character dining experience at Epcot that also offers views of Illuminations. However, at Epcot, my little girl loves Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and dining with the princesses. My son loves Garden Grill because he can eat with Chip and Dale!

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
