I have a 2 year old and 4 year old--- What is the Jungle Parade like? Is it worth staying until 4 pm to watch?

    Jonna,

My answer would be a resounding YES!  Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade is my family's favorite Disney parade and it's a 'must do' in my book.   My girls are similar in age to your children (5, 3, 1) and they love it!

I believe this to be the most festive and fun parade.  The music is upbeat and contagious - all along the parade route you'll see families dancing, singing, and clapping along.  There are definite African influences, both in music and design.  The floats are like none you've ever seen, where huge animals are created out of paper and wood.  The colors are bright and vibrant, and the construction primitive enough to look like something you might actually find in a remote African village.

Characters in this parade are dressed like they are going on safari.  You'll find classics like Mickey and Minnie along with harder to find Disney favorites like characters from Jungle Book and Lion King.  Animal Kingdom presents very unique character greeting opportunities that you can't find at the other parks, more so than any of the other three parks.

This parade ranks right up there with the Festival of the Lion King show (our other favorite attraction in Animal Kingdom), so definitely stay to catch it if you can.  You won't regret it!
