I am a 18 year old, just wondering if I can purchase a room on Disney property. And check in, and go to the park. I’d like to go to Disney for my senior trip but I’ve seen some very counter intuitive information online.. thanks!

Hiya, Pal, and welcome to planDisney!

Your question brought an immediate smile to my face as it took me back to my own senior trip to Walt Disney World. While you'll be busy creating memories, I can promise you that, 20-something years from now, you'll look back on this trip with tremendous gratitude and happiness in your heart.

I'm thrilled to share with you that Guests who are 18 years or older are welcome to reserve and check in to a Disney Resorts hotel. Just remember that the payment method used to book the room must include the name of the reservation holder to ensure a smooth and seamless check-in process.

Don't forget staying at a Disney Resort comes with plenty of magical benefits. Enjoy perks like the ability to book Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days before arrival, early theme park entry, convenient complimentary transportation, and don't miss out on the 2025 bonus — FREE Water Park entry on your arrival day!

Alright! Now that I've answered your question, let's see how we can make your senior trip the BEST. VACATION. EVER! Start your trip in true celebratory style by stopping by any Guest Relations or the front desk of your Disney Resort to pick up a complimentary Celebration Button. A Cast Member will be happy to personalize it just for you!

I highly recommend booking a Capture Your Moment session. This personalized 20-minute photo session is the perfect way to commemorate your special occasion. These sessions are available at all four theme parks, giving you the chance to create magical memories wherever your heart desires. Whether you're looking for that icon shot in front of Cinderella Castle or stunning photos around the globe in World Showcase, you'll be able to choose the experience that reflects YOU personally!

Another fantastic way to celebrate is by booking a Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party! Just imagine ending your Disney day savoring delicious desserts while the sky lights up with the breathtaking Happily Ever After fireworks. It's the perfect way to honor your achievement in true Disney style.

I hope these suggestions make your trip truly special. Please visit me again if any other questions pop up during your planning — I'd be happy to assist!

    Magical wishes,

    Kami
