Hi there Rositsa, thanks for submitting a question with us.
The So Cal Resident Ticket is a great offer for local guests wanting to experience the Disneyland Resort. I'm happy to provide more information on the special deal.
The So Cal Resident Ticket offer is eligible for guests that can provide valid government-issued photo ID that indicates their residency within the zip codes 90000-93599. These tickets are available for use, based on reservation availability, between January 2, 2024 - June 2, 2024. It gives the ticket holder 3-Day admission to 1 Park per Day, with the ability to upgrade to a park hopper ticket. However, seeing the arrival date noted, she would not be able to use a So Cal Resident Ticket on June 10, 2024. If she is able to reserve a date before the ticket expires on June 2, 2024, then yes, she would need to provide the ID as mentioned above upon entry to either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park.
Did you know that you can also upgrade the value of her So Cal ticket to an available Magic Key pass? You can read more about Magic Key passes in this buying guide. The passes are currently still on sale as of this response, and I recommend that if you choose to upgrade you do so sooner than later. We never know when sales will cease. A couple things to note:
- Any reservations already made with the So Cal Resident ticket will be cancelled so be sure to review the Magic Key availability calendar to see which pass will work best with your plans.
- Have her check her Disneyland app and view her ticket, an upgrade option should pop up below her ticket.
With all the amazing things happening in 2024, it's a great way to lock in the magic! I hope this helps Rositsa, and wishing your 17 year old a magical visit, real soon! We'd love to answer any other questions, feel free to send them our way!
Adventure awaits!
