Do a 15 year old and twin 11 year olds need a passport for a round trip cruise to the Bahamas with their dad and can they then debark the ship without problems?

Happy New Year and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Christine!

Traveling to the Bahamas with Disney Cruise Line is one of my family's favorite getaways.  The Bahamas is home to Disney Cruise Line's exclusive private island Castaway Cay, a beautiful gem away from the hustle, bustle and cold of our northern climate.  With beautiful white sand beaches, a variety of water activities, snorkeling and a great barbeque style lunch included in your visit, I always end up booking my next cruise each time we leave so our family can begin the countdown to our next Castaway Cay day!

I am certain your crew is counting down the days until their very own Bahamian adventure begins!  When traveling with my young ones, I too want to be prepared to board and debark the ship easily.  To ensure smooth sailing during your boarding process, review the passport and documentation requirements specific to your itinerary.

To debark the ship while in port, all adult guests must show picture identification and their Key to the World card (your identification and stateroom key while onboard your Disney Cruise Line ship).  Your minor-aged castaways will also need to show their Key to the World card when debarking and must be accompanied by an adult staying in the same stateroom.  You also have the ability to grant permission for your castaways to debark unaccompanied or with another guest by completing the "Traveling with Minors" section accordingly when you complete the My Online Check In process before your sailing.

Bon voyage Christine and enjoy your adventure in the Bahamas!
