If my 2 year old is tall enough to get on the Rise of the resistance how do i get a virtual que without a ticket?

    Bright Suns, Christie!

Welcome to planDisney. I love that you want to take your young Padawan to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disneyland Park! Trying to escape the First Order is no easy task, but I have a feeling the Force is strong with the two of you and that you’ll be just fine!

Christie, to experience the attraction, your Mouseketeer should be 40” (102 cm) or taller. And since your little one is two years old, they are considered a Guest of Mickey Mouse, as you know, and do not need a theme park ticket. Since your Mouseketeer does not have a theme park ticket, they will not need to be placed in a Virtual Queue. Instead, you would need to be sure to get yourself into the Virtual Queue and a boarding group, along with any of the other members of your party who are ages three and up. Once your boarding group is called, you will need to let the Cast Member at the attraction know that your child is two years old, and they will check your child’s height to allow them onto the ride.

When I take my small Mouseketeers to attractions they’ve never been to before, especially ones with a complete storyline like this one, I like to explain what will happen before we go in. Sometimes we even watch videos on YouTube before we visit so they know what to expect and aren’t spooked by anything.

Consider using the Rider Switch service if there are rides your young Padawan would not like to experience. This handy feature allows adult Guests to take turns waiting with little ones who do not want to or cannot ride an attraction. Just head to the Cast Member attending the attraction and let them know you’d like to use the Rider Switch service for a specific attraction, and they’ll get you all set up for it.

We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic, Christie! Have an enchanting visit!
