We have a 2 year old we are taking with us to Disney in three weeks. We booked a room in the Carribean Beach Resort..but I just learned the bus ride from the resort to the parks is very long. Should I attempt to change resorts, or will I be okay?

Hi Joy! Or should I say, "Whatcha talkin' about Willis?!" The Caribbean Beach Resort has a nice central location that's not too far from any of the parks. The bus ride to Hollywood Studios and Epcot takes about 10 minutes; Magic Kingdom is about 15 minutes away and Animal Kingdom is a little over 20 minutes. Walt Disney World is a big place and it takes a bit of time to travel anywhere. Honestly, even if you stay at the Grand Floridian, which is right next to the Magic Kingdom, you'll spend 25 minutes on a bus to the Animal Kingdom. The rides may sound long, but they pass quickly and it's relaxing to let Disney drive you to the park entrances. When my kids were the age of yours, they liked getting on the big bus and not having to sit in a car seat, so I bet your little one will find it fun too. I definitely wouldn't change resorts because of bus rides. No matter where you stay at Walt Disney World, you're going to have to just plan to leave thirty minutes or more before you want to be somewhere so you'll have time to catch a bus and travel to a park or another resort. Just keep repeating to yourself, "Getting there is half the fun!"

Have a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're happy to help!
