Hi, Moms! My 11 year old suffers from occasional migraine headaches. He is on meds to prevent but still sometimes he gets them and they can cause vomiting. Should we bring a doctor note to avoid being quarantined if he should get one during our cruise?

Welcome aboard, Jill! I'm sorry to hear that your son suffers from such debilitating migraines. I have friends who suffer those quite often, so I have witnessed how uncomfortable that can be.

Luckily, this shouldn't be an issue with the health team on Disney Cruise Line. I spoke with them about your son, and was told that it wouldn't hurt to bring a doctor's note, but you most likely won't need it, even if your son does vomit due to a bad migraine.

I say, better safe than sorry, and since it won't be too much extra trouble to get that note, just go ahead an have in ready to be fully prepared. You'll have peace of mind knowing that you have the note just in case.

As you continue to plan your cruise, please let me know if you have further questions, as I'm always happy to help!
