Me and my 7 year old are staying at POP for 7 nights, have 6 base tickets bought and a QS meal plan. My husband MAY join us, but likely only in the parks for 4 days and will not need the meal plan. How would I add him and his tickets to our reservation?

    Hi Allison!  Welcome to planDisney!

You and your daughter are going to have a groovy time at Disney's Pop Century Resort! And it will be awesome if your husband can join in on the fun for a few days! Disney's Pop Century Resort is my go-to Disney Resort as it fits into my budget nicely and I love having easy access to the Disney Skyliner!  It is so easy and relaxing to get to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.

When booking a Walt Disney World vacation package, all members in your travel party who are added to the reservation will need to have the same type of theme park tickets and in your case, the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan.  Unfortunately, you won't be able to add your husband for just a few days if he is able to join you.  However, I have a solution for you and we have plenty of time to make this work!

For this upcoming trip, I'd like to recommend that you cancel your vacation package and instead book a room-only reservation (be sure to select "No Ticket" during check-out).  I would suggest you include your husband's name on the reservation since there would not be an additional cost as your daughter is a minor.

You can purchase your theme park tickets separately for you and your daughter.  Later, if your husband's schedule allows him to join you, he can purchase his park tickets separately for the number of days he will need. Note: You will have to pay for the theme park tickets in full at the time of purchase and you do not have to purchase them on the same day as your hotel reservation.

If you feel you need the assistance of a cast member to make these changes, please call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations for further assistance. You have plenty of time to make this change but be sure to do this at least 30 days prior to arrival to avoid possible vacation package change fees.

Allison, I always book room-only reservations as I find it provides more flexibility for my family.  I also have family members who like to join in on my vacation for just a few days and this always works perfectly for us.

I hope you find this information helpful. Please let us know if you have any follow-up questions as you continue to plan your magical vacation!
