My 8 and 5 year old sons are very active. Can you recommend a Disney hotel that has lots of activities including a pool with a waterslide or other fun elements and lots of nearby activites? A value or moderate hotel is preferred with our budget.

Hey, Tammy!  I can't imagine anyone having any energy left after a day in the theme parks, but kids are absolutely amazing!  Imagine the fortune we'd have if we could bottle all the energy they have!

I love Port Orleans Riverside for kids.  My girls love it there, and I've been there with two of my nephews, who both swore they could never go to another hotel again unless it was this one!

One of Walt Disney World's moderately priced resorts, you will find so many things to do there!  In addition to Ol' Man Island, which features a great pool, a water slide, a playground and a kiddie pool.  There is also a big arcade, catch and release fishing, bicycle and boat/paddleboat rentals, and an evening carriage ride through the resort.  There are usually other things going on, like crafts for the kids to do, and there is a butterfly garden at this resort as well.

Another great resort for boys is the Caribbean Beach resort.  You could look into one of the new Pirate themed rooms, and enjoy Old Port Royale, which has a great pool, water slide, and an awesome children's water play area.  You can also rent boats and bikes here, and you will find a game room for the boys to play in, as well as some small playground areas.

There really are so few locations that will disappoint in terms of activities.  No matter which resort you choose, you'll find things to keep those boys busy!
