    Our 7 year old son is a type 1 diabetic. We have a reservation at Colorado Springs Resort. Is there a way to get a microwave for him? He has episodes of low blood sugar and we usually give him warm milk and honey for treatment?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Herice! Holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort are extra magical! I'm so excited to know that you will be visiting with your family. Thanks for stopping in with your question.

    You can absolutely request a microwave during your stay at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. The best way to go about it, is by calling your resort in advance at (407) 939-1000 to make your request. Make sure to let the Resort Reservation Specialist on the line know that you will need the microwave for medical reasons. Just in case, microwaves are also available for use at the El Mercado de Coronodo food court.

    Herice, renovations are now underway at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and you will notice a beautiful grand entrance when you arrive! You will get to enjoy an amazing view of the resort as you’re checking in. The Lost City of Cibola pool is also a main attraction for this resort.

    I hope you get to enjoy all of the magical Holiday offerings during your visit. There’s nothing like soaking in the beautiful decorations along Main Street U.S.A. at the Magic Kingdom Park during Christmastime.
