HI, My 10 year old son is a super picky eater. We have reservations for Be Our Guest, if he choses not to eat will we still have to pay for him to sit with us? ( I had him look over the menu and he said nope to everything) Thank you.

    Heigh Corinne,

Welcome to planDisney, we are a panel of Guests with a wealth of Disney knowledge and Disney travel experience which we enjoy sharing with our Fellow Guests. Visiting Walt Disney World is an adventure of the senses and exploring the different food options is definitely a plus for many but not for all. I want to be completely upfront with you so you can decide what is best for your family. Walt Disney World restaurants, with a prix fixed menu, such as Be Our Guest will charge each Guest, 3-years of age and older, whether they choose to eat or not. For some of our younger Guests, Be Our Guest's menu may not be one of their favorite flavor palettes. But sometimes if something is put down in front of them and after a long day in the park and the rumbly in their tumbly is speaking loud enough they may be tempted to take a nibble or two. If he does not want to choose, then you make the best possible menu selection decision for him? Once everyone is served, enjoy your meal and let him be with his meal. With beef or chicken or mac-n-cheese to choose from and some Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust, who know maybe some Disney Magic will happen.

We look forward to Welcoming You Home and check out our Instagram (@planDisneypanel) and Panel Extras for more Vacation Planning Tips. Feel free to ask us any further curiouser and curiouser inquiries you may have and may your upcoming visit be filled with many magical and memorable moments.

    Have a Practically Perfect Day,

    Amy M.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
