Hi, my 11 year old son and I will be running the Princess 5k in February. Is it possible to finish the 5k and walk directly to Epcot for an 8am pre park opening breakfast? Thank you!

    Hi Jessica!

I'm excited to hear you and your son are running together during the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend! Our family loves the 5k races and often plan a family race weekend!

While the official race course and map are not yet available, it often follows the same or similar course from year to year. If this holds true, I think you'll have plenty of time after the Disney Princess 5K to head over to an early breakfast at EPCOT. The first runners will begin the race at 5:30 am, with additional corrals starting in waves after that. Even if you start towards the end of the waves, I think you'll still be able to make an 8 AM breakfast reservation. Of course, you may be super sweaty if you run like the wind!

When setting up your EPCOT breakfast dining reservations, be sure to do so well in advance. Reservations fill up fast, so the sooner the better! If you dine with the characters, you'll want to make sure you wear your race medals! You'll have great photos to celebrate your race!

I hope you both have a great, fun race!
