About Me

Run. Eat. Vacation at Walt Disney World. That's me! Well, that's me when I'm not learning more about Walt Disney World! An active and healthy lifestyle is tops for our family while we're at home and on vacation. Of course, we've been known to splurge a time or two while visiting - with so many dining temptations, how could you not!

About My Family

Our family is an active and adventurous bunch! It’s hard to believe, but our two children are now adults who have practically been raised at Walt Disney World Parks. In fact, our son’s first steps were taken while on vacation! Over the years, we've experienced quite a breadth of park activities: from our first Character meal (with Pooh!) to running our family’s first 5K race through Magic Kingdom. Dad is our roller coaster guru and family photographer, while Mom is the dining expert. Our daughter enjoys the behind the scenes tours and our son can't pick his favorite - He loves it all!

About My Disney Experience

With more decades of experience than I'd like to admit, I've been fortunate to have many, many vacations at Walt Disney World. Our breadth of vacations is varied: from bi-annual trips which last weeks to quick day trips as Annual Pass holders who spend every free moment at the parks. We’ve been lucky enough to have many celebrations at Walt Disney World Resort: birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, holidays like Halloween and Christmas. This truly is the most magical place on Earth to celebrate!

From value resorts to club-level stays at deluxe hotels, we love being immersed in the magic of Walt Disney World. Special dining experiences are always a top priority as well – even though the kids are now adults, character meals are still a must-do! As a culinary groupie, I find the restaurants at Walt Disney World fascinating and as a vegetarian, I welcome the ease of Disney dining!
