My 7 year old son is not allowed to eat softserve icecream, due to his illness. We will be travelling for 3 nights in May on the Wish. Is it possible to get him the Mickey Mouse icecream in stead of the softserve? Thanks!

    Hi Lidewij,

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for sailing by with your question. One of my favorite things to talk about is Mickey Premium Ice Cream bars, so let's get started!

You will be happy to know your son may order Mickey ice cream bars! While dining in the Rotational Dining restaurants, for lunch or dinner, you may order an ice cream bar for dessert. This is a must for me on embarkation day! You may also order them through Room Service at any time. And here is the best news, Mickey Premium Ice Cream bars are complimentary, though remember to bring a few dollars for gratuity for the Crew Member who delivers room service.

If your son can enjoy hand-scooped ice cream, Inside Out: Joyful Sweets (Deck 11, aft) serves delicious gelato served in freshly made waffle cones.  Another fun poolside treat is a fruit smoothy from Wheezy's Freezies (Deck 12, forward).  Keep in mind that items purchased at these locations are an additional fee.

Be sure to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before you board this ship. I use this handy tool aboard Disney Wish to help me get my bearings so I can find my favorite places quickly. Once you board, switch the app to Onboard Mode to discover many other helpful features.

I hope this information sets your mind at ease and has your son looking forward to special treats! See ya real soon!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
