Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kristen!
Your vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort is less than a month away! You must be so excited! I know you've spent a lot of time planning a magical stay and are looking forward to seeing your children's eyes light up when you arrive in just a few weeks.
Kristen, I can relate to the question you've asked about how to plan something special for your boys to do while you and your daughter experience a royal time at
Disney's Perfectly Princess Tea. I'm also a mom to a prince and princess, and my husband and I often split up to spend quality one-on-one time with each of our children. A few ideas have come to mind for your son and husband that I'd love to share. There are several marina locations, including at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, that you can rent a
motorized Sea Raycer. I know my son loved sitting in the seat beside his dad, zipping across the water! Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground offers both
kayak and
canoe rentals if you think they'd like something a little more laid back. Did you know there are several
fishing opportunities at the Walt Disney World Resort? There's dockside fishing along with guided fishing excursions available. Another idea your boys may enjoy is miniature golf. Both
Fantasia Gardens & Fairways Minature Golf and
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf usually open at 10:00 a.m. so they could grab breakfast at the resort before heading to one of these fun courses! Another idea is to
rent bikes to explore some of the bike trails around the Resort hotels. They do offer bicycles with training wheels if needed.
I hope I've given you some good ideas on some
fun recreational options, Kristen. If you have any other questions about your stay, I hope you'll reach back out for some help.
Have a MAGICAL time!
Nancy
