My 10 year old son is an extremely picky eater. Is it ok if he picks a child meal from the menu even though he has an adult meal plan? Most of the choices on the children's menu are more of what he likes to eat. Thanks!

    Hi Kathy,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your dining question! You are in for a real treat with the 2017 Disney Dining Plan.  As a mom of a picky 11-year-old-son, I completely understand your concern in wanting to make sure your son is happy with his choices.

Although it is up to the discretion of each dining location, I have found the servers at Table-Service restaurants work very hard to accommodate Guests with dining requests. My son has been allowed to order an adult portion of a kids' menu item when we have asked. I recommend talking to your server at restaurants that your son prefers the kids' menu items over the adult selections to see if he/she can accommodate his requests.
I hope this information has been helpful. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to visit us again. Best wishes for a magical trip, Kathy!

    Bon Appétit,
    Jodie
