MagicBand+ and Smart Phone

    My 13 year old has his own MDE account and he has access to all of our plans. He tried to create a mobile pass but Google wallet would not allow him to because of age restrictions. How can i re-manage his plans so I can get his pass in my digital wallet?

    Hey there, Nicholas! Welcome to planDisney. We're happy you stopped by! 

    I'm thrilled to hear that you're on your way to Walt Disney World Resort! With so much to see and do, you're sure to find magic around every corner. But first, we need to make sure that your son can access the parks! I'm so sorry to hear that he's having trouble connecting his Disney MagicMobile pass to his digital wallet, and I'd love to give you a few next steps that may work for you:
    • Android users with Google Pay are welcome to use Disney MagicMobile service! I'm happy to let you know that it's easy to set up a Disney MagicMobile pass. Have your son open his My Disney Experience app, tap the icon that looks like three stacked lines in the bottom right corner, then tap the Disney MagicMobile tile. After he selects his desired style of pass, he can click the blue plus sign (+) to save it to Google Pay.
    • If your son doesn't have Google Pay enabled on his phone, my panelist pal Anne Marie has found a temporary solution! If you have Google Pay on your phone, try having your son log into the My Disney Experience app, on your phone and with his own login information, to save his Disney MagicMobile pass to your phone.
    • There are also alternate ways to enter the parks if needed! Instead of using Disney MagicMobile service to tap into the parks, consider using a Disney Band or asking the front desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel for a complimentary Key to the World card. These will allow your son to easily access the parks, making sure that he doesn't miss a minute of the magic!
    • If you need more assistance, feel free to call a friendly Cast Member in Technical Support! They'll be happy to help your son with the next best steps available to him.
