Can my 11 year old order off of children's menu, as he may not like what is offered on the adult menu. I know it says 9 and under. What if I am not purchasing the DDP? This will be our first trip without plan, my son will still want kids menu.

    Hi Shannon,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As a mom of a picky 12-year-old son, I can certainly understand your concern. I have always found the servers at Table-Service restaurants to be very accommodating in trying to ensure my son has a magical dining experience. Although it is up to the discretion of each dining location, my son has been allowed to order a kids' menu item when not on the Disney Dining Plan. We have also been given the option of ordering an adult portion of a kids' menu item. My recommendation is to ask your server if your son can order a kids' menu item if he doesn't see anything he will eat on the adult menu.

I hope this information has been helpful to you. If you have any additional questions or would like dining recommendations, please don't hesitate to visit us again. Best wishes for a magical trip, Shannon!

    Bon Appétit,
