Can my 11 year old order a kid's meal and have an adult menu dessert?

    Hi Vicki,

My children often prefer the meal selection on the child's menu, even though they're over 9, and we've often done what you have just asked. The server sometimes actually brings them an adult sized portion of the kids meal which makes them even happier.

As for dessert we've never had a problem there either, my children have just realised that cheesecake or creme brulee is nicer than the kids ice-cream sundae so like to order from the adult menu.

Although we've never had a problem all restaurants do vary so ask your server when you're seated and I'm sure they'll be able to accommodate your daughter.

    Have a great trip,

    Jo
