Hi, I’m Jo, a stay-at-home Mum. I grew up in the most easterly point of England, but 15 years ago moved down to Kent, known as the Garden of England, located just an hour from London. I love walking, reading, gardening and travelling. I’m a very keen golfer, playing several times a week and having a handicap of 11. I have previously been a Rainbow (Young Brownies) Leader and on the PTFA. Before children, I worked as a lab assistant for a water company.
About My Family
I have been married for 14 years to David, a PGA Golf Pro. Believe it or not we met on the golf course! We have two wonderful daughters aged 11 and 13 and can’t wait until they’re old enough to share our passion for golf at Walt Disney World. Our tenth wedding anniversary was meant to be a return to the Maldives where we honeymooned, but we took our first family WDW trip instead and we haven’t looked back since! We all agree that Disney is by far our favourite holiday destination and the girls excitedly help me plan every trip.
About My Disney Experience
My first trip to Walt Disney World was aged 9 when it was quite rare for English people to visit. My Dad caught the Disney bug and we returned when I was 14, 15 and 17. Luckily I caught the bug too and couldn't wait to take my own family for the first time in 2005. Since then we've spent six weeks onsite spending time in our "Disney Bubble". We love every aspect of WDW from our favourite ride, Test Track, being competitive at Mini Golf or zooming down Teamboat Springs at Blizzard Beach. We always have so much fun and can't wait to go back.
