I have a 2 year old who is OBSESSED with Pirates of the Caribbean, and I really want him to experience the Pirates League. I know that it says the age requirement is 3, but how do they verify his age?

Hi, Sarah!  The Pirates League is a great experience, and it can be so much fun.  Some of the pirate makeovers, however, take quite a while of sitting still, and that is likely one of the reasons for the age restriction.

They can ask when you shedule your appointment for your child's age or birthdate, although you don't have to bring proof with you, like a birth certificate.  They usually just go by the honor system.  Keep in mind, though, that a three year old requires a theme park pass, where a two year old does not.  Your information from your resort can be accessed for verification, and without a theme park pass, they will know your son is only two.

Don't despair, however.  You will find several locations where you can purchase pirate costumes or accessories.  You can let your pirate obsessed preschooler choose an outift or pirate accessory that makes him feel like a real buccaneer.

Have a wonderful time on your upcoming vacation!
