Dear Brandi,
Thanks for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about fireworks noise.
There is a lot of stimulation of all kinds on a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and fireworks are definitely part of that stimulation. The noise can be quite loud and many children are sensitive to that noise. It
will of course depend on your child's comfort level, but the fireworks can often be viewed from quite far away, and that will definitely help with the loudness.
For the
Magic Kingdom, head towards the train station on
Main Street, U.S.A. to get a terrific view without the intense noise. If that's still too much, consider watching from the beach at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. They pipe the music in, and there is a great view. There are several restaurants that have wonderful views also, without the intensity of the noise.
For Epcot, the fireworks take place in the center of the World Showcase, all of the countries are about equidistant from the fireworks. For Disney's Hollywood Studios, taking a spot closer to the entrance is going to work well for you. The nighttime show at Disney's Animal Kingdom does not have fireworks.
Moms Panel tip - Many people buy and bring an inexpensive pair of noise-cancelling headphones and bring those with them if they know that their child is sensitive to loud noises such as fireworks. That might be something that would work for your child as well.
Happy planning!
