is my 2 year old included in the meal plan??

    Hello C M,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  How exciting that your family will be visiting Walt Disney World in just a few short months!

I'm a big fan of the Disney Dining Plan and really can't recommend it enough.  My family uses is on almost every visit and we love the delicious food, convenience and value.  I really think you'll love it, too!

The Disney Dining Plan is not available for children under 3 years old, but there are still plenty of great options so that your little one won't go hungry.  If you're dining at a Table-Service buffet or family-style restaurant, your 2-year old can have their own plate and dine for free, including having their own choice of drink and a dessert.  At Quick-Service or Table-Service restaurants where you order off a menu, you're welcome to either share off your plate or purchase a kid's meal and pay out-of-pocket for that.  When my own sons were little, we usually chose mostly buffet or family-style restaurants for dinners so that they (and we!) could enjoy  some of their favorite foods during the meal.  A few of our top spots were Chef Mickey's, The Crystal Palace, 'Ohana and Cape May Cafe.  For Quick-Service meals, we found there was often plenty of food to share from our plates, so we didn't need separate meals for them very often, especially if we chose items our kids would enjoy (like french fries as a side order and yogurt as our dessert).

Wishing you delicious dining and a magical vacation!  Please let us know if we can help answer any other questions as you finalize your plans.
