About Me

While my home is in St. Louis, my heart is always at Walt Disney World Resort. I can still remember the feeling I had walking into Magic Kingdom for the first time almost 30 years ago. After all these years, it hasn't lost a bit of the Pixie Dust. I've been married to my college sweetheart for 15 years and together we're raising our three sons, ages 14, 11 and 4. By day, I work as a university administrator in the fields of audiology and deaf education, but I'm on call 24/7 for my boys' sports and activities. When I'm not dreaming of Disney, you can probably find me running, enjoying any activity on the water, cooking or traveling.

About My Family

My family of 5 is rounded out by a great cast of characters. As an avid marathoner and amateur triathlete, my husband embodies Buzz Lightyear. My 15-year old son is as funny and easygoing as Goofy, my energetic and athletic 12-year old would give Dash a run for his money, and my youngest is as unpredictable as any 5-year old and reminds me of Stitch almost daily. As for me, I'm just a regular mom trying to achieve Mrs. Incredible status, one day at a time. My parents passed on their love of Walt Disney World to me, so I like to say it's in my genes. Now it's a tradition I'm happy to be passing on to my own family.

About My Disney Experience

Although my passion for Disney Parks started with my own family vacations as a child, I've grown to love Walt Disney World even more as an adult. I've traveled at every age and stage, planned trips for groups of one to 20, stayed at resorts from value to deluxe, and am chasing down a dream of trying every last Walt Disney World dining spot on property (100+ and counting). Did I mention I love food? Some of my other "must-dos" at Walt Disney World are the thrill rides, "Wishes," the Magic Kingdom opening show, and visiting the France pavilion at least once every visit for a tasty beverage.
