    My 7 year old grand daughter asked if Father Christmas will be on holiday in Disney World, Florida, in August 2012. She thought that it was most likely that he spent his holidays there,. I do not know the answer.

    I wish a could give your grand daughter a great big hug. She sounds adorable.

    Here's the scoop on Father Christmas. He does come to Disney World when he needs some relaxation or to get inspiration by watching children enjoying themselves. (He's got to get all those nifty toy ideas somewhere.) But Florida in August is just a bit too much heat for a man that's used to the temperature at the North Pole. If you come to Walt Disney World in November or December, it's possible to see, or even meet Santa Claus, but he doesn't come by much during the summer.

    There are two Christmas-themed shops at Walt Disney World, one in the Magic Kingdom and one at Downtown Disney. They sell lovely holiday ornaments and decorations, many of which can be personalized. Perhaps your grand daughter could select one to display on her tree later in the year so that Father Christmas can see it himself.

    While you're waiting for your Disney visit, you might want to share a few jokes with your cutie grand daughter:

    Q: Where does Father Christmas stay when he's on holiday?
    A: At a Ho Ho Hotel!

    Q: What does Father Christmas take photo with during his vacation?
    A: A North Polaroid!

    Q: What does Father Christmas call his time away from work?
    A: Santa Pause!
