I have an 8 year old girl. She is really not into any characters. Our character dinner should be more about an interactive fun atmosphere more than the excitement that it is a specific character's dinner..... do you have suggestions?

Yes, there are a few character meals that fit that bill.

The first that comes to my mind is Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner, at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian Resort. The stepmother and stepsisters are in attendance, and they are as sassy as ever. The characters there interact so well with one another, and do a great job of including the guests in their banter, that even the 'too big for characters' kids can't help but laugh.

A few that offer 'get up on your feet and dance' kind of fun are:

    • Donald's Safari Breakfast or Lunch at Tusker House in Animal Kingdom
    • Chef Mickey's Breakfast or Dinner at the Contemporary Resort (a great place to celebrate!)
    • Disney Junior Play & Dine at Hollywood & Vine in Hollywood Studios
    • Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Ft. Wilderness Resort - signature dining

    Hope that helps!
