ChEARs Mandi, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Isn’t living close to the Mouse the best? I love the convenience of popping over to the Resort on a free weekend. There is always something new and exciting happening at Walt Disney World Resort, and
2020 is no exception!
If your 14-year-old has a
Florida Resident ticket, there is no need to show identification or proof of residency (at least for the next four yEARs!). Once the kiddo is 18, then they will need proof of
Florida residency to qualify for the discount. Once the ticket is activated, she can purchase a
MagicBand or use the card to get into the Parks without
proof (as the card or band will act as proof). Since she’s 14, she can enter the Parks on her own, but I always think the Parks are more fun with companions!
Our
oldest daughter is 15, and she has a genuine love for
the thrills of the ‘World. You all must visit the Planet of Batuu and drive the
fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy, as well as
join the Resistance!
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith are also must-dos. When she decides she’s done with grown-up thrills, she can play BIG in
Toy Story Land! And don’t let Slinky Dog Dash fool you, it’s a real coaster!
Mandi, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. Have a magical visit!
