Hi there, Jennifer! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!
As another mom of a picky eater, I can certainly sympathize with the challenge that planning a meal at a restaurant poses. My teenage son is on the autism spectrum and rarely eats anything other than your typical kids' menu foods. One of the reasons why my family returns to
Walt Disney World Resort year after year is that they are always very accommodating of my son's food preferences.
While menu substitutions are at the restaurant's discretion, in my experience, the Cast Members always go above and beyond to make sure that their Guests enjoy their meals. At
dining locations such as
Space 220 Restaurant that have a prix fixe menu, all Guests ages 10 and up will be charged the adult price regardless of what they order. That being said, if you speak to your server, they should be able to work with you to find something that your daughter will like to eat. When I take my son to a Walt Disney World Resort restaurant, the Cast Members can typically offer him an adult-sized portion of a kids' menu item or a modified version of something from the adults' menu.
I think you're really going to love dining at Space 220 Restaurant. Traveling 220 miles above Earth to dine among the stars is quite the experience! I hope you enjoy your meal as well as the rest of your day at
EPCOT. If you have
any other questions, my fellow planDisney panelists and I are all ears!
See ya real soon!
