My 9 year old daughter and I want to reserve at a la carte restaurants without a dining plan of ANY kind! While we love good food, we are very light eaters. We'd rather order selectively and share. We don't care about the refillable mug for sweet

    Hi there Kate!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I have always been allowed to share entrees and other menu selections when dining at Table-Service restaurants featuring an à la carte menu, when I wasn't on the Disney Dining Plan. As you most likely know, you won't  be allowed to share meals at any buffet or all-you-care-to-enjoy dining locations. Although my family has purchased the Disney Dining Plan in the past, we don't always do so when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.

Unfortunately, your question was cut short. Please don't hesitate to visit me again if I can be of further assistance to you or if you would like any dining recommendations. Best wishes for a magical trip, Kate!

    Bon Appétit,
