I have a 13 year old daughter who is really into art and drawing. Is there any kind of class or something that we can do for her while we are at WDW? We will be going in October. TIA :)

    Hi Lindsey,

Your budding artist must visit Disney's Art of Animation Resort, even if you have chosen to stay in another Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

From the moment you enter the lobby, feel immersed in the history and talent of incredible Disney animation. I love the sketches on the walls showing different iterations of some of our favorite Disney characters before we loved them. No detail was overlooked in this beautiful Resort hotel showcasing the fabulous animation that has grown to hold a special place in our lives.

Your daughter will have two opportunities to put her own pencil to paper. First, join the resident artist for Teach to Draw classes daily. Though this is held in the Children's playroom near the front desk, this is an all-ages event. Check the daily schedule for times which are subject to change.

Want to impress other Guests of this beautiful Resort hotel? Sketch your favorite Disney character, and bring your drawing to the Front Desk before 4 P.M. to be entered into the Sketch Artist of the Day competition. Cast Members at the Front Desk are happy to provide you the supplies to participate.

Visit the Walt Disney World Resort website for more tips and tricks to plan the perfect stay with your teenager.

Please let us know how else we can help you draw out the best in your Disney Parks vacation!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
