My 4 year old daughter is obsessed with the animal kingdom show and vets on Disney plus. Is there anyway to get a behind the scenes tour/meet vets fir her birthday in November?

Hey there, Elizabeth! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!

As a mom to another little animal lover, I'm so excited to share some ideas with you for making your daughter's birthday exactly what she's always dreamed of! The Disney+ shows you mention are incredible but nothing is going to beat a real-life experience of getting up close and personal with some of the amazing creatures she usually only sees on TV! Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park has so many ways to experience the wonders of nature and the creatures that inhabit it. She's going to love all the rides, attractions, and shows as well as some special moments that you can schedule through the Enchanting Extras Collection!

Four is the perfect age to visit because some of the behind-the-scenes tours require their Guests to be at least four years of age. Since it sounds like your daughter is interested in seeing what it takes to be a caretaker for some of the animals at Disney's Animal Kingdom she might really enjoy the Caring For Giants tour.  This 1-hour experience lets Guests watch from close by as the African elephant herd gets taken care of.  You'll even have a guide to help answer any questions she may have throughout the experience!

Another tour she might be interested in is Up Close with Rhinos.  This backstage tour also requires Guests to be four years or older, and will take you back to get close to the white rhinos while you learn more about them.

Beyond "Enchanting Extras" make sure to visit some of the main animal attractions within the Park such as Kilimanjaro Safaris, Maharajah Jungle Trek, and the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail. Stopping by Conservation Station could also be a thrill as your daughter would be able to meet animal experts and see the Veterinary Treatment Room and Nutrition Center for the Park's animals!

I just know your daughter will be blown away by all there is to see and do at Disney's Animal Kingdom.  For her birthday, you might think about trying dinner at Sanaa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge so she can watch the animals roam the Sunset Savanna as she enjoys a birthday meal.

Please come back and see us again as you continue planning this amazing birthday vacation!
