Hi Everyone! I'm Ashley, a mom to three amazing little Disney-lovers, and wife to an incredible guy who will stop at nothing to make me laugh. We live in the mountains of Massachusetts, which is a far cry from the palm trees of the Walt Disney World Resort! My kids are the heartbeat of my life, and most of my free time is spent with them, though I also work with preschoolers as an early literacy specialist. Right now, life is pretty busy, but remembering that "there's a great big, beautiful tomorrow" (hopefully with a Disney trip on the horizon!) helps me to slow down and take in the beauty of each day.
About My Family
As a child I lived for our family vacations to the Walt Disney World Resort. My diaries were filled with countdowns and ideas, and even as the "baby" of the family, I quickly became the planner! Over the years a lot has changed, but the excitement when planning a new Disney trip never waivers. My husband and I actually began our "happily ever after" right on Disney property at Sea Breeze Point at Disney's Boardwalk Resort. We now have three spectacular children: a tall and beautiful "almost" teenager, a spunky and incredible little princess and a small but mighty little prince. We love the Walt Disney World Resort because it allows our entire family (grandparents, too!) to enjoy our time together.
About My Disney Experience
The Walt Disney World Resort has literally been a part of every stage of my life. Our first family vacation to the resort was in 1989 when I was three years old. Since then we have made countless memories and traditions in the dozens of trips we've taken since. As a teen, my best friend and I begged to go again and again, and 20 years later can still fall into a fit of giggles when reminiscing about running through the rain, sampling our first churro, or meeting new friends in Epcot. Now, as a mother, watching my children's faces glow in the light of fireworks has become my new favorite memory. As a family, we are never happier than when we are together at the resort, and we love continuing traditions like being first in line on Peter Pan's Flight and eating Mickey waffles at Magic Kingdom. Hopefully having experiences as a child, young adult, bride and mother can help me help you make the most out of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation at any stage of life!
