My 7 year old daughter is listed as a friend on my Disney account. How do I change her profile to be listed as Family and not a friend?

    Hi there, Dana,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I'm so glad you stopped by with your question today and I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble, but I think we can get this fixed faster than you can say "bibbidi bobbidi boo!"

To move your daughter from your "Friends" to your "Family" section using the Walt Disney World website, first log on to your My Disney Experience account.  From there, go to the "My Family & Friends" section, find your daughter's name and click the "Edit" button to the right.  On the next page, you should see her name and birthday listed near the top.  Just under the birthday is a box that says, "This friend often travels with me."  Click that box and you'll see a green check mark appear.  Once that's done, hit "Done" at the bottom and she should then show up under "Family" for you.  Just like magic!

If you're using the My Disney Experience mobile app, the process is almost exactly the same.  From the menu (top, left corner), go to "My Profile," then "Family & Friends" and then find your daughter's name.  Select her account and you should see the same option to check "This person often travels with me." under "Add to My Family" to move her from "Friends" to "Family."

I hope that fixes the issue, Dana!  If not, the wonderful Cast Members at the My Disney Experience help line can be reached at (407) 939-4357.

Wishing you a magical vacation, Dana!  Please write back if we can help answer any other questions.
