My 6 year old daughter and I are attending the MNSSH party, should we plan this on a day we are not doing the parks? I am concerned with costumes, and getti8ng ready before hand.

    Hey there Kelly!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  How exciting you will be attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party with your little princess!  My family has attended Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party several times in the past now, and have always enjoyed a relaxing day at our resort prior to attending the Special Event. I have always tried to either let the children sleep in or take an early afternoon nap in order to fully enjoy the evening activities and last until midnight.  We have also learned to eat a late lunch before heading to Magic Kingdom Park and then grab a quick-service dinner during the party, to allow ourselves more time to enjoy the entertainment options and other "Not-So-Scary things" that are featured at this popular Special Event. I personally believe it would be too much for my four children to visit a park during the day and then attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party until midnight without an afternoon nap/break. I also believe it will be easier to get ready for the party, if you're not having to rush back to your resort from another park. I hope this information is helpful! Please don't hesitate to write me back if you have any additional vacation planning questions. Best wishes for a spooktacular trip, Kelly!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
