My 5 year old broke her arm and will have a cast on while we are at Disneyland and California Adventure . will she be able to ride all the rides or will she be turned away?

    Hi there Julie,

Thank you for writing us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are here to help with your Disney vacation questions.

I'm so sorry to hear that your 5 year old broke her arm. Sending her a warm hug, happy thoughts, and pixie dust. I recommend you speaking with her doctor first; if her doctor says it's okay for her to ride the attractions, then it's okay. Disney is "Wild About Safety."

Your princess will be able to enjoy most of the attractions but there may be a few limitations. For example, if there is an attraction with a harness that does not allow her cast to fit comfortably, then she may not be able to ride. Rest assured Julie, there are so many attractions at the Disneyland Resort that do not have a height restriction which you will be able to enjoy as a whole family. If you are concerned about this, you also may want to talk with a Cast Member at City Hall upon arrival to Disneyland Park. They can help guide you on which specific attractions would be suitable for your daughter, since they can see her cast situation and current height for a magical visit to the Disneyland Resort.

I hope this helps and that you have a pixie-dusted time during your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth. If you have any more questions, please visit me here and let me know how I can help you plan your magical vacation.

    Have a magical adventure!
