I grew up in Southern California, visiting Disneyland Resort every Halloween, most birthdays, and often just because we needed "our fix." I have a lot fond memories of visiting Disneyland at a young age. Two of the fondest memories are soaring over the park in the now-retired Skyway attraction, and crying over spilled milk - literally - at The Blue Bayou Restaurant in New Orleans Square. Ever since those days, I've quoted every word and have sung every lyric (usually off-tune) from all of the Disney films I've seen. I was that child who was excited to wake up, turn on the Disney Channel and watch the classic, live-action "Dumbo's Circus" in the morning. Then in the afternoon, I'd watch cartoons, like "DuckTales. I'm a stay-at-home mama of two young children and love that I can be here to watch them grow. I love fashion and to create DisneyBounds for my daughter and me. I'm a fused-glass artist and a barn-wood artist with a passion for "UP"cycling used or vintage treasures to give them new life.
About My Family
I married my Prince Charming who was my high school sweetheart, and introduced him to Disneyland. He instantly fell in love with "The Happiest Place on Earth" and we were "... in a club now." We have two precious kids whose names just happen to have a little Disney touch in them (inspired from "Finding Nemo," since we also love the ocean). They keep me busy between dance practices, family adventures to our local aquarium, weekend hikes in the Utah mountains and soccer practices. My son is on the Autism Spectrum and has special needs. We lived in Northern California but moved to Utah to pursue a Disney dream of our own; we bought the real-life replica of the Disney•Pixar "UP" House. Our home is a daily tourist attraction, and it brings us joy to see all the smiling faces who visit. Our family motto is "Keep Moving Forward" and is painted on a huge barn-wood art piece that I made. We hung it above our stairs, so it's the first thing we all see as we head down them in the morning to start our day off right.
About My Disney Experience
I always say Disney is running through my veins and that I truly believe in "Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust." Through my many magical trips to Disneyland Resort, I have experienced a wide variety of visits — from low-budget, spontaneous and short stays to long-planned, lengthy trips. I have experience visiting the parks from infancy to adulthood. I've also planned visits as a single adult, married adult without kids, and married adult with kids. I have enjoyed single-family visits and have coordinated multi-family visits. We have danced, hopped, skipped and drug our tired feet through the parks, but always with a magical plan set for success. Whether this is your sixth visit or your first time, I'm here to help answer your Disneyland Resort questions. "Adventure is out there!"
