From one Midwesterner to another, welcome to planDisney Angela! How exciting that your trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth" is coming up so soon!
Guests of the Disneyland Resort are able to bring and use their own ECVs, manual wheelchairs and power-assisted wheelchairs as long as they fit within the
property rules and guidelines. The devices must be manually or electrically powered and operated at a walking pace, must be single rider, and not exceed 36" in width and 52" in length.
You also may want to review the
services for Guests with mobility needs prior to your trip, including the various options for loading into ride vehicles comfortably. You can always consult a helpful Cast Member at each attraction about your child's needs. There are also other helpful tips such as rental information for
wheelchairs and ECVs if needed, as well as
companion and multi-stall restroom facilities.
I hope you and your family are ready to "Celebrate Happy" during your trip, and enjoy the
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration! There are so many ways to enjoy this special celebration whether it's the specialty food and snack items, or wonderful
entertainment options such as the Paint the Night parade and Wondrous Journeys.
I hope this information is helpful for your upcoming trip, Angela! If you think of any other questions we can help with before your trip, please don't hesitate to
come back and ask.
Have a magical day!
Melissa
