    I have a 5 year old boy, is Fantasmic recommended or okay for this age or is it too scary?

    Hey Beth!  What a great question.  Every child is different and I think you could get a number of different answers on the question, but let me tell you my recommendation.  My youngest is 6 and she has seen Fantasmic every year since she was six months old.  She loves it and is the first to ask, "are we going to see Mickey Magic?"  Yes, she has covered her eyes if a particular character on the water screen scared her but never has the show scared her.  It is actually one of our all time favorite things to do at WDW.  And it's important to note that Mickey's "good" triumphs over the "bad."  I really believe it is one of the most incredible attractions at any WDW park.
