Ahoy there, Chandani!
Welcome to planDisney! You and your family are just days away from one of the most magical vacations ever! I'm happy to assist you with your
Disney Cruise Line question.
Disney's Oceaneer Club aboard each of the amazing ships is designed for children ages 3-10. So, while your little sailor is potty trained, they aren't quite old enough yet for this space. But never fear, there is so much for young ones to explore and enjoy in
"it's a small world" nursery! With games, crafts, story and movie time, your child is sure to have a ball. Reservations can be made on a first-come, first-served basis before your cruise, during the open house on embarkation day, or throughout your cruise. I recommend making reservations early for times you know you will want your child to utilize these services. Remember, a nominal fee will be billed to your stateroom for the time your child spends in this incredible space designed for their age.
Now, you and your little tot will be happy to know that all that good potty-training work will pay off when it comes to
enjoying the pools onboard since potty-trained young ones are welcome! I also recommend trying out the water play areas on the ship designed for children 8 years of age and under, especially if it is sunny and you are looking for a place to enjoy some shade and water fun. After you splash around, don't forget to enjoy the complimentary soft-serve ice cream available at the snack stand area of the pool deck.
You will be sailing away before you know it, Chandani! Thanks for stopping by planDisney; I hope to see you again!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
