My use year begins in August. If I want to make a reservation for December 2024 and I need to use banked 2023 points and use year 2024 points as well as a few more from use year 2025. Will I be able to borrow from 2025. Would need to reserve in May 2024.

Welcome to planDisney, Carol, and Welcome Home!

Flexibility is truly a feature that sets Disney Vacation Club apart from other vacation ownership offerings. Banking and borrowing allow us to save our Vacation Points from a year when we may not travel as much or borrow from another year if we want a bigger space for our trip. Let's take a look at banking and borrowing for your next adventure.

Based on the information you provided, I spoke with a DVC Cast Member about using your Vacation Points for a reservation in December 2024. They confirmed you should be able to use your 2023 Points that were banked into 2024, and since your Use Year is in August, you should also be able to borrow Points from 2025 for a December 2024 booking. Now, since I cannot see the exact information on your Points, I can't guarantee you will be able to utilize these Points at one time next year. My suggestion is to call DVC Member Services and have a Vacation Advisor go over your specific Point usage. They will be able to make sure you are good to go for your booking next year. I hope this helps you with your upcoming reservation!
