    Yeah 12 days and counting for our first visit!Thank you for answering my questions for the Jedi training will be there bright and early so hopefully our son will get picked.Staying at POR how long will it take to get to HS,no extra hours on Aug 22.Thanks!

    I can feel your excitement about your upcoming trip. Getting close now!

    If Disney's Hollywood Studios opens at 9:00, the buses will start running from the resorts at about 8:00. You should plan to be on that first bus. The ride itself will take less than 20 minutes, but once you get to the park you'll have to go through security and you'll want to get a good spot in line so that you can be one of the first to get to the Jedi Training sign-ups.

    If you're driving to DHS, you should be in your car by 8:00 a.m. at the latest. Again, the ride itself will be short, maybe 15 minutes, but you'll have to park and take the tram to the gate, as well as pass through security.

    With something that's in short supply like Jedi slots, it's much better to be too early rather than too late.
