Ya'll have been instrumental helping me plan our fall trip TY! I have been debating on changing our times. Currently we are going Sept 29-Oct 4 (before Columbus day) is this a good time to go (Crowds, weather, cost)? I am worried about the Food & wine F

    Hi Shannon!

The International Food and Wine Festival will be held from September 28 to November 12 this year. Therefore you will be staying at Walt Disney World during a pretty busy time of year. It is the start of the festival, so you may experience heavier crowds.Columbus Day is on Monday, October 8, which is a very busy time of year. That week will have high crowd levels because of Columbus Day and the Food and Wine Festival going on concurrently.

Your trip is right up against the long Columbus day weekend, so you may experience those crowds as well. The weather is wonderful during this time of year though, so it is a great time to go from that respect. Also, if you want to experience the Food and Wine Festival, which is amazing, this is a great time to experience it.

If you are looking for a time of year with low crowds, great weather and value season pricing, consider a date earlier in September.

However, no matter when you go to Disney, you will have a magical time!

    Magically,
    Stacy
