Hop on in to planDisney, Rebekkah! We're glad you stopped by so we can help plan your Easter visit at
Walt Disney World Resort. Spring is a stunning time to be at the theme parks, and I love your idea of embracing all the Easter fun. Let's look at what we know so far about this most EGG-citing holiday!
It's a little early for Easter details, so be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for announcements and news. Last year, the blog posted some articles about
Easter treats and
merchandise in March, so that will be your official guide.
I also know that
Steakhouse 71 at Disney's Contemporary Resort has offered an Easter brunch menu on Easter Sunday only. As soon as your booking window for dining opens at that 60-day mark, try to snag a reservation there. The Easter menu might not be released until later, but you'll have your reservation either way.
Many restaurants offer delectable brunches year-round. Some of my favorites are at
Kona Cafe,
Whispering Canyon Cafe, and
Grand Floridian Cafe. If you'd like a mid-morning meal with characters, you can't beat
Garden Grill Restaurant with farmer Mickey and pals.
Treats and snacks themed to chicks and bunnies will abound at the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. I like to look at it as a pixie-dust surprise to see what's available when you get there. And some Disney Resort Hotels will have painted eggs on display.
Disney's Yacht Club Resort has had some fantastic ones in the past, so you might have a front-row seat!
My final tip to make your Easter EGG-stra special is to set your bonnet for the Easter Bunny himself. In years past, he and Mrs. Bunny have greeted guests at
Magic Kingdom Park near City Hall. I can't imagine a better way to embrace Easter magic than meeting this HOPpening couple.
Rebekkah, I hope your visit is full of magical EGGsperiences this spring. Please stop by
planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
