Hi there, Kelly! I'm so glad you're getting ready to hop on down to Walt Disney World Resort for Easter this yEAR!
Although nothing has been officially announced yet, in the past,
Disney's Yacht Club Resort has hosted an "All-You-Care-To-Enjoy" Easter brunch at
Ale & Compass Restaurant.
Cape May Café at
Disney's Beach Club Resort also typically has Easter brunch from 11:30 AM-2:00 PM. I recommend staying tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog, and try checking the menu for both of these restaurants periodically for updates as we get closer to April.
The Walt Disney World Easter egg displays created by the pastry chefs at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts are "eggs-ceptional!" These unique eggs are made with chocolate, fondant, cocoa butter, and royal icing, and will be displayed in both lobbies at these sister resorts. The size of the eggs varies, but they can weigh up to 25 pounds and stand at 20 inches tall! Many of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels will also have Easter activities that will be printed on your resort's recreation calendar that you'll receive when you check-in. Last year they had an egg hunt in the
Stormalong Bay pool. I'm sure Dory would approve!
I'd be "hoppy" to tell you about some other resort wide happenings during your stay! Held annually during the
Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, the Epcot Egg-Stravaganza hunt is a guest favorite. Oversized Easter eggs with pictures of beloved Disney characters are hidden throughout the World Showcase. We're still waiting to hEAR details on whether the construction will impact this event. Also, make sure to stop by and see Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny, dressed in their Springtime best; they usually have a meet-and-greet location in the Town Square area of
Magic Kingdom Park. Last, but certainly not least, Easter services will be held at the
Disney's Contemporary Resort hotel in the Fantasia Ballroom. Both a Catholic Mass and a Protestant service will be offered, so if you plan to attend, check with your resort's front desk for a schedule.
I hope you have an egg-cellent time, Kelly!
