Disney's Yacht Club Resort but dining at the down-home
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is the best of both worlds. My top tip for this hootenanny is to come hungry! And don't miss the
fresh-baked cornbread; I like to add a heaping helping of honey butter to mine. Now let's talk transportation.
First, you can
check complimentary transportation options between any destinations in your My Disney Experience mobile app. Tap the location pin icon at the bottom of your screen to get started. And you can always opt to pay for a rideshare service for the quickest way to travel.
Here's my recommendation to get to the show on time using Disney transportation. From the Yacht Club, take a bus to Magic Kingdom Park. Keep in mind that this resort often shares buses with Disney's Beach Club Resort, so follow the signage to Magic Kingdom.
At the Magic Kingdom bus depot, you have a couple of options. I like
taking a water taxi to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort because it drops you off near Pioneer Hall, where the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is held. Look for signs to board the correct boat; the Red Launch usually runs from Magic Kingdom to Fort Wilderness.
You could also take a bus from Magic Kingdom to Fort Wilderness, but you'll need to take the resort's internal buses back to Pioneer Hall.
Time-wise, both routes would be similar, so it comes down to personal preference. I love a scenic boat ride, so that's probably what I'd choose. I also recommend allowing about 90 minutes to get from the Yacht Club to Pioneer Hall. If you arrive early, browse the
Settlement Trading Post for some unique Fort Wilderness items. My Chip 'n' Dale beach towel from there is one of my favorite souvenirs!
