Will be at wwd Jan 27-feb 4, trying to decide between dddp or ddp, looks like they dropped many rest from 2009 to 2010. If rest is not on list you cannot use diining plan there? Only 2 rest in downtown disney. we would have to pay out of pocket then?

    Hi Jennifer,

Our family loves the ease and convenience of the Disney Dining Plan, and my husband and I love that it helps us budget out our costs in advance.

I just recently saw a list of the current Disney restaurants that are participating in the 2010 Dining Plan. You are correct, there are a number of locations that are currently not on that list. If the restaraunt does not participate, you will need to pay for any meals there out of pocket. While there is no guarantee, I can tell you that the list of participating restaurants is always subject to change. Given the number of locations currently missing, I would expect at least some of those to be added as the new year draws closer. There are a number of our favorites not currently part of the Plan and I have my fingers crossed that they are added before our 2010 visit.

Good luck and fingers crossed that your favorites are added.
