I wrote in a few weeks ago, bought fake sword in Epcot and had to throw it away at the airport. Your answer was super helpful, except I am hoping to get the number for the store in China. You gave me the one from Japan and we got it in China TY!!

Hi there, Leah! It sounds like you had a fun trip recently!

My favorite thing to do while vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort is to spend an afternoon strolling around Epcot's World Showcase Lagoon. I've taken many family pictures under the colorful arches called Paifang at the entryway of the China Pavilion. Must do's for us include meeting with Mulan, seeing the Reflections of China movie, and touring through the Temple of Heaven which is a one-half scale reproduction of its counterpart found in Beijing.

My friend, Jason, must have had some extra pixie dust up his sleeve when he found the number for the Mitsukoshi Department Store. Direct phone numbers at Walt Disney World are notoriously hard to find, and I was not as lucky when trying to locate the contact information for the House of Good Fortune in the China Pavilion. My suggestion would be to call Merchandise Guest Services at (407) 934-6111 (or email them at: Merchandise.guest.services@DisneyParks.com). Hopefully, they are able to help you find the Chinese wooden swords.

Leah, hǎoyùn (good luck), and please stop by if we can help you again!

I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
