WRONG DATE GIVEN BY MISTAKE!!! This just on, “My family will be arriving on April 13th. My countdown days say 62 days until arrival . When can I start making dinning reservations ? You told them 60 days was MARCH 13, but it is IN ONE HOUR = FEBRUARY 13!

Hello, Kimberley, and welcome back to planDisney! I'm so sorry there was some confusion about making those dining reservations. Let's take a look and see if I can help make your planning go smoothly for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit.

If your arrival is April 13, you should be able to start making those dining reservations at 6:00 AM EST on February 13. If I looked at your dates incorrectly in your previous question, I do apologize. I hope you can set that alarm and book some fabulous meals first thing in the morning! Just so you know, there's a note about site maintenance on February 13, so please be aware that might impact the reservation system.

Even if a particular restaurant doesn't have availability, my tip is to keep checking. Reservations open up when another guest cancels or modifies their plans, so I've had luck snagging reservations just a few days before my trip. And remember that guests who arrive a few days before you may have already been able to book during your dates, so some experiences might be booked before your window even opens.

I understand it can be frustrating when you've been dreaming of a specific restaurant experience, but Walt Disney World Resort has so many fabulous spots to dine that I think you'll have a magical time. One year, the only available restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park during my visit was Tony's Town Square Restaurant. My family was surprised by how much fun we had sitting on the porch and watching the afternoon parade go by during our meal; Tony's has become a sentimental favorite for us now!

Kimberley, I hope you can book fantastic meals for your visit in April. Any meal at Disney is delicious in my book! Feel free to stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
